Actually Ogg Encoding is a personal favorite of mine for quite some time now. Compared to the most common VBR MP3 encoding Ogg really keeps a lot of the fidelity at a comparatively small filesize. And on top of that it’s completely free. Encoding, decoding editing, since the codec is based on open source software everybody is free to share. If you are into music and you want to store your stuff in a format with a free future and no DRM whatsoever. Go for Ogg!
