The Conduit for Wii is gonna be awesome

Judging from the first and second gameplay footage walkthrough of this years E3 this game will be a real innovation for the Wii. A pure FPS game with pointer controls and competitive graphics. Yeah sure it’s not “Next-Gen” but I don’t have to buy an HD TV to enjoy it either. Just my cup of tea. Chances are 100% I’m going to buy this.

Cheats on Life 1

Cheating is science, Science is Cheating

Did anyone ever realize that Genetic Engineering/Modification (GM) is cheating life in it’s purest sense? Instead of accepting the randomly generated sequence of events and parameters that life throws at you during a normal childbirth and conception we have devised methods of manipulating the outcome by skilled reproduction of predictable parameters. Instead of having random DNA generated through the natural process we use reliable, tested, DNA that will assure a most positive outcome.

That’s cheating right there, if I use God mode in a video game I do that because then I KNOW that battles will be predictable. I am invincible ergo I will not die in the fight. Same thing for cloning instead of risking to get a “flawed” strand of DNA during the process that might develop a mental or other illness or more likely a disposition we regard as negative or unprofitable in it’s adult stage we modify the initial starting factors for the entire run. It’s like starting a trainer in front of a video game, by scanning for bits that hold the Health and Ammunition values and changing them we make sure that we don’t run out of bullets or die half-way through. By scanning for genetic defects like testicular cancer and heart disease and by correcting them before conception we make sure that … well, the same really … that we don’t run out of bullets or die half-way through.

Fable 2 looks interesting, and boring

I mean really? You can get married, pregnant, have children, play with your dog. What’s next? Chopping wood? Plowing the tomato field? Role Playing is nice and all but once it goes beyond adventuring I think it’s a bit off.

What a glorious day

The internet gave me another place to put some shit that doesn’t want to stay in my head. I can’t say I’m relieved yet, but that’s surely going to change. It is, isn’t it?
